So last night I dragged Deneca, my darling best friend who dragged me into this Midsummer Night's Dream event, over to my apartment for some test runs. She's seen what kind of makeup they're expecting, so she gave me a brief overview with some sketches, and let me play with her face. :) She also let me do a test run on her for the wedding I have on Saturday, and my trial run with the bride is this afternoon.

Hey guys! I know some of you said you were interested in going to Bengie's drive-in this weekend. I don't want to make any 100% solid plans, since the weather isn't looking too hot. It's supposed to be in the 90's and raining, and since you can't have your car turned on to use air conditioning or windshield wipers, that could suck. We may still go, I don't know, though. :-/

SO this is a little old considering how long ago these came out but I haven't even tried mine yet! So my question is=what is the best thing to use to get them to stick? I want a pretty good layer on there.

Also-Post your favorite blue looks! I'm going to a Black and Blue club event this weekend and I want something hot but I'm lacking creativity :(

Hi all!

So I've been coveting ( THIS ) since I first saw it in my Cosmo.

My problem is I've looked at the quad (and internet swatches) and even though the ad says that Eye Enhancers in "Lime Alive" "Gold Sizzle" and "Coral Jungle" were used there is NO WAY, those eyeshadows give that kind of color payoff and CG always looks chalky to me.

SO, what I need is if somebody could suggest colors/brands that WOULD give me this look, I would love you for life. Also I'm a little iffy on placement.

Long Story Short: HELP ME!

What are the best brushes to contour a face with?

Also, what shades would work best to contour(to recede)and highlight(to bring out)with? I've heard bronzes and browns...just want to make sure.

Alrighty, so i think ive actually run out of my GWP size of Clinique's High Impact mascara (unless i can steal mums - if she hasnt used it yet)

I wanted to purchase the full size, but yea its $36 AUS and i dont really feel like spending THAT much on one mascara, if theres something i can get cheaper

I dunno if im fussy with mascaras, i was using an Avon one called....astonishing lengths. Unless i realised when my eyes watered the mascara would make my eyes sting.

Does anyone feel its all to do with the wand/brush that makes the lashes so awesome. My clinique one was pretty good, not so much dried up though haha

So what are some decent drugstore brand ones? I'd love some opinions from the aussie girls too (bah drugstore ones are expensive too?)

So this weekend is Comic-Con and I'm so excited. The first time I went two years ago I got to meet Seth Green who I've had a crush on since middle school haha. This year I'm going Thursday, Friday and Sunday. All the money I have left after Sonic Chic/Electroflash is going to disappear =(

Anyways, I need makeup ideas and I was wondering if you guys could inspire me and suggest some looks to try out. And they can definitely be super fun bright looks which I don't normally get to wear at law school. I'm NW15 with blue eyes and black/pink hair. Thanks!!!

Hey guys, I just wanted to ask anyone who owns an original green frost pigment for a favor. Can someone please post a pic of the pigment in jar or swatched or however else you can photograph it? Also what's your batch number? Any help would be incredibly appreciated! Thank you!

so i am so excited! i got my BNIB MAC turquoise pigment from a swap in the mail today, and i dont really question the authenticity of it, but hey it never hurts to check

so for those of you who have it what is the little number on the bottom?

and to anyone could you post swatches(either that you have done, or that you found online) so i can compare

and lastly i really like the color, but i am all of a sudden very intimidated by it, so if anyone has like a killer look they have done with it, or any great color combos that would be amazing
