Last summer, I found a very rare coin mixed in with the dimes in my cash register. It's a gold 2 1/2 dollar coin, minted in 1912. It's in really, really good shape. Brief online searchings show that it's worth anywhere from $250-$400.

Should I sell this coin and buy a Canon EOS Rebel 10D? I have the opportunity to pick one up supa-cheap.

Or should I hang on to it and see if the value has gone up in a few years?

Hell yeah, I am watching "I want to Save Your Life" on WE.  This guy is awesome.  This a great show.

I got two shots on Monday at the doctor's office. One in each arm at the same time. One was for meningitis and the other was the second dose of chicken pox (why I never got that when I was younger I have no idea).

Anyway, the injection site on my right arm is really sore, a little warm to the touch, and there is some swelling. The other side is a tiny bit sore still, but not swollen at all. I don't know which shot they gave me in which arm so I'm not sure which one I am reacting to.

But swelling and soreness should be normal right? Am I gonna die?

Why is my new coat of paint not drying to the same color as the previous coat? The paint is the same I used before, but it has been about a year.

Hey everyone today ended a challenge that I was doing for spark people. So I took some pics to show the difference over those 12 weeks. It also ran along the time as our fun challenge here. I figured I should post it here too. Here is the info:

Met challenge goal: No, just 2 pounds away. i could have done better but I really started slacking towards the end, when it came exercise.

Also here are some new progress pics: This is the first time I've ever tried a short hairstyle..I'm sure I'm not the only one who has heard, "big girls should have long hair to distract from their weight"..yup from both family and friends..but oh well I don't care anymore. I've always liked short hair better. So I tried it, not a fan of the color, but thats all they had. Its a sew in anyway, so it's temporary. I've been stagnating at 192.5 for the last two-ish months. And while I won't say I was getting frustrated, because I am seriously happy to be at this weight, I was sort of wondering what more I might have to do to keep losing. Sure I slacked off with the diligence for about six weeks, staying happy with maintenance, but I've been back at work for the last two weeks with nary a budge. And then, this morning I stepped on the scale. After breakfast, after rehydrating from my run, after taking a bath and getting waterloggy skin, I was at 191. I usually step on the scale first thing in the morning, so I wasn't prepared to see that low a number, but I'll take it.  Yay. I'll have to take another picture of myself. I'm finding/saving a bunch of pictures of myself throughout this journey so I can post them for all you lovely people sometime in the future.

I just boiled an egg and now I'm eating the shell. My roommate says this is strange, but I always thought it was fairly common.

Here in my city, a 17-year-old was killed in a car crash at 3 am. It was a single car accident and he was driving home alone. Apparently he was a good kid and this was just a sad accident. But a lot of people are writing to the paper wondering what a 17-year-old was doing out alone at that hour.

Here in the USA, 17-year-olds are less than one year away from the age of majority ,which is when they get total control of themselves and total responsibility for their actions. The way I see it, it is insane that a parent might raise a child who, by the age of 17, is not capable of making safe sensible decisions for him or herself.
